What we are doing.

Northern Hills Christmas Party at Eventide:

Northern Hills has a long history with Eventide a Medicare Facility.  One of our members asked what our church could do. A Christmas party was suggested and we do one every year. Since that time other groups have come in and helped in other ways, but we still do the Christmas party. We provide drinks, cookies, a pair of socks and a stuffed animal. They look forward to us coming every year.

Operation Cookie:

At Northern Hills we are always looking for new and exciting ways to outreach to the Neighborhood.  This was our Christmas Cookie Outreach.

 

Missionary Moments:

JON and MINDY JAMISON are North American missionaries serving as directors of the Friendship Baptist Center in inner-city Des Moines, Iowa. Through this ministry, the Jamisons have the opportunity to introduce people to Christ by meeting them and loving them no matter where they are in their life’s journey. The center’s ministry strives to meet needs in Jesus’ name by offering after school, youth, and ESL programs; Bible studies, clothing and food closets; and summer camp. Pray for Jon, Mindy, and those God leads to the Friendship Baptist Center this week.

An additional $125.00 has been given to Lottie Moon, $249.00 to Annie Armstrong, $25.00 to Viola Webb and $25.00 to World Relief Ministries.  This is a total of $607.00 given to missions in 2008.
