Guitarist David Smart:
Please welcome
guitarist David Smart who will be leading us in worship this morning. David is
professor of music at Mid-America College of the Nazarene. David has a real love
for the Lord. Internationally known and classically trained, his joy for Jesus
is best expressed through his musical artistry and testimony with inspired
worship and praise songs, favorite hymns, and timeless classics. A love offering
will be taken.
Sunday Evening Fellowship:
The fellowship
this evening will be at Art & Brenda Allensworths’ (5049 NW Green Hills Rd.) at
5:00 p.m. Burgers and drinks will be provided. Please bring side dishes and your
lawn chairs.
Wonderful Weekend for Women:
The Wonderful
Weekend for Women (WWW) will be September 12 & 13 at Webster Conference Center
in Salina. The theme this year is “Spilling Over” which is taken from John 7:38.
Featured speaker will be Diane Nix from New Orleans, LA. Cost is $60.00 plus
lodging. Reservations will be made at Holiday Inn Express this year.
Registration form as well as more information is on the hallway bulletin board.

English as a Second Language (ESL):
A basic workshop
for teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) will be held on August 7-9 at
the Trinity Ministry Center (formerly Trinity Baptist Church). Cost is $30 per
person, and you must register with the associational office by July 18 so
materials may be ordered. If you have any questions or would like more

Festival of Marriage
The Festival of Marriage at Tan-Tar-A Resort in Osage Beach, MO, will be
November 7-9. Bill and Pam Farrel, authors of numerous books on marriage and
family life, will be the conference speakers. Clay and Renee Cross will be the
musicians. Clay is a 3-time Dove Award winner with 9 #1 radio singles. Whether
you’re a newlywed or have been married 40+ years, make plans to attend. It’s
always a great time to get away and to renew your marriage. To register, please
call LifeWay at 1-800-254-2022. Fee is $129 per couple. In addition, Brian is
not reserving rooms this year, so please make your own reservations at Tan-Tar-A
by calling 1-800-826-8272. Cost is around $100 per night. Total cost for the
event is around $300 per couple plus food and travel. The church has $100
